Cherylann Oliver of Achieving Excellence, LLC is a mother of four. She
holds a degree in Psychology with furthering education in child welfare
studies. Cherylann facilitates parenting classes and workshops that focus on improving family communication, encourages cooperation, and promotes both self-esteem and mutual respect through the use of discipline strategies that work. She lives in Somers, Connecticut with her husband Tony and three of their children, Vanessa (21), Jonathan (18), and Adamarie(9). Her mother, Maggie, also resides with her. Cherylann makes it known that she "practices what she preaches" and shares examples from her personal life. She has a positive approach that relays her belief that all parents have strengths and are their own child's expert. Central to all her topics is the importance of parenting styles and communication as a way of achieving a calm family environment that cultivates love and attachment. |
